| Using an Ovulation Kit for a Baby Boy |
|
For those that want to have a baby, specifically a baby boy, then an test kit that predicts when you begin to ovulate is the right choice for trying to guarantee the sex of the child. A lot of medical theories believe that having sex the closer you are to ovulation betters your chances of conceiving a boy. While some believe that you should try for several days before you ovulate, others feel this could decrease your chance of a male child. For the best chance, sexual intercourse should happen within twenty four hours of ovulation. There are several devices on the market that can help predict the best time to create a baby boy. Ovulation prediction kits come in three basic tests- urine based, blood based and oral based. The blood test tends to be the most expensive and most accurate, but most doctors wouldn’t advise patients to draw their own blood. Urine based exams tend to be just as accurate as blood, with the more expensive models allowing you to judge the approaching ovulation days before it arrive. With this method, testing must be done during the first morning urination and the test strips can be expensive if you have to repeat the process month after month. For most women, the oral based kits seem to be the best choice as far as pricing and reusability are concerned. Saliva ovulation kits can be difficult to operate at first because it relies on using a microscope and understanding what you are looking for, but most kits have easy to follow instructions to help you figure out your results. While an ovulation kit will help guess the right time to conceive a baby boy, there are other things you can do to help insure this process. The sperm necessary to create a male have a hard time surviving if your body has high levels of pH. There are pH test strips you can buy that let you know what your current levels are so you can adjust this by diet and exercise days before you ovulate. Remember, though these kits help you to plan on having a baby boy, there is no 100% guaranteed method for predicting the sex of your new baby. |
